New Administrative Headquarters Tacoma, Washington 2001 This nine story office building serves as the Administrative Headquarters for Columbia Bank and accommodates the continued growth of the Frank Russell Company. The prow-shaped building is heralded by City officials as a landmark in the revitalization of downtown Tacoma. Perched above the Thea Foss Waterway, the Columbia Bank Center is the first new Class A office facility in Tacoma in more than a decade. Prior to completion, it was more than 90% leased. The sleek shape of the building and the spire at its prow, express a positive and dynamic view of the future of Tacoma. The project was completed in association with Zimmer, Gunsul, Frasca Partnership as Design Architect.
