A Contemporary Barn for Year-Round Use

Rooted in the familiar form of a working barn, the Agriplex draws from the agricultural heritage embedded in the region’s identity. Its rustic geometry and material palette of warm wood, cool concrete, and corrugated metal create a structure that feels both grounded and contemporary.

The design centers on flexibility. A generous open plan accommodates animal exhibits and milking parlors as easily as auctions, weddings, and lifestyle expos. Large working barn doors, shutters, and clerestory glazing invite daylight deep into the space, enhancing comfort while reducing reliance on artificial lighting.

Built for Generations

The Agriplex balances nostalgia with forward thinking design. Its adaptable layout ensures year round functionality, while its architectural expression reinforces the Fair’s core values of family and community. Respectful of the past and responsive to the future, the building strengthens the campus as a place where tradition and celebration continue to thrive.
