Vistage Award Winner

Vistage Award Winner

May 4, 2021

Vistage, the world’s largest CEO coaching and peer advisory organization for small and midsize businesses, has announced Randy Cook, AIA, is the recipient of the Vistage Leadership Award for the Seattle Region. The Leadership Award celebrates a member’s enduring excellence in leadership, recognizing the discernible impact they’ve had on their business, Vistage group and community.

Randy Cook, Managing Principal of TCF Architecture, brings an enthusiastic, fully engaged presence to the firm and to his clients. His expertise in the planning, design, and implementation of maintenance, operations, and administrative (MOA) facilities for public and private clients throughout the Pacific Northwest includes projects for transit districts, power, sewer and water utility districts, city and county public works departments, parks maintenance departments, port districts, and the military as well as private industrial clients. Randy leads a highly-participatory and methodical approach to planning and design, working with stakeholders to break down complex problems into workable systems that lead to high value, enduring, quality design solutions that can best serve the client’s organization as well as the greater community.  Randy is passionate about helping others achieve their highest potential, guiding the culture of TCF to be high-performing and driven by the firm’s purpose of “improving Communities”.

“I’m truly humbled and honored by this recognition, made by my peers in Vistage who are superb leaders in their own companies, and whom I so greatly admire and learn from. I’m also reminded how fortunate I am to be surrounded by so many quality people in my life who have encouraged and challenged me to be a better person and leader.”
Randy Cook, AIA
“Recently as I was listening to Jim Collins, I was struck by his definition of a Level 5 Leader: ‘The greatest leaders have tremendous personal humility combined with an indomitable will in service to a cause that is bigger and more enduring than they are.’ As I reflect on how to describe Randy Cook, this is it. Randy has the humility to grow and learn, always, from everyone; every member, every speaker, every workshop. And he does whatever it takes to make his company and the buildings in the community they design the best. And if you talk with him, you will quickly learn of his commitment to making communities better, a cause that is bigger and more enduring than him or even the company he has grown. Well done.”
