In addition to a healthy appreciation for the turtleneck’s slimming effect, Sheena is drawn to the field of architecture for its ability to positively impact communities. A firm believer that the more collaborative the process, the more interesting the solution, Sheena uses her talents for good rather than evil to engage stakeholders in enjoyable, meaningful visioning.

Steve offers more than two decades of experience in K–12 school design for districts across Western WA. His portfolio includes both elementary and secondary schools, projects where he tackled technically complex challenges, optimized project budgets, and strengthened both functionality and the character of the learning environment.
As co-leader of TCF Architecture’s Educational Studio, Steve helps guide the firm’s delivery, documentation, and quality control processes. His attention to detail, clear communication, and steady leadership support thorough, well-coordinated project outcomes. A lifelong connection to the outdoors shapes how Steve approaches design. Time spent skiing, mountain biking, and exploring informs a practical understanding of natural forces and conditions. That firsthand perspective carries into his work, where considerations like seismic performance and tsunami resilience are approached with both technical rigor and lived awareness.

Tyler’s lifelong connection to design was shaped by a family rooted in construction, real estate, and interior design, grounding his path toward architecture as a natural pursuit. His creative explorations in drawing, furniture making, and graphic design continue to inform his approach, expanding his perspective across disciplines. He views architecture as both privilege and responsibility—an opportunity to create spaces that enrich lives and serve a purpose beyond their form.
